What Information We Collect, and Why We Collect It.
Why We Collect Your Information. We collect personal information to better deliver the products and services you request. Your personal information helps us communicate with you about our latest products, special offers, and information about which you might like to hear. We also collect your personal information to help us design and deliver our website, and to deliver targeted advertisements to you when you use the website.

How We Use Your Information.
To Communicate With You. Examples of how we may use your information are: (1) to request feedback and to enable us to better understand how the Site and our services are being used and how they can be improved, (2) to contact and communicate with you and to respond to your communications and requests about the Site, or about our programs, services, products, activities and special events, and (3) for any other purpose for which you specifically provide the information to us.
Email Communications and Ability to Opt-Out. If you provide your email address to us, or you have agreed to share it with us through the Therapedic.com website, we may email you with information and updates about the Site that we believe may be of interest to you. If you wish to opt-out of receiving these emails from us, please follow the instructions contained in each email you receive from us which will allow you to opt-out of receiving further marketing communications from us.
Automated Decision Making. Automated Decision Making is the process of making decisions through the use of an algorithm or software that does not require human interaction. Profiling is using automated decision making to process your personal information and evaluate certain information about you. The Company employs reasonable security measures consistent with standard industry practice for personal information collected through this Site, including physical, electronic and operational measures to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access.
While we take all appropriate steps to safeguard the personal information under our control, unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or method of storing data can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Your information will be maintained as long as your Account is active, is needed to provide you services, or as necessary to comply with the Company’s legal obligations. If you delete your Account, the Company will delete your information 30 days after your Account has been deleted.

Your California Privacy Rights.
Shine the Light. As provided under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice describing what categories of personal information we share with third parties or corporate affiliates for those third parties or corporate affiliates’ direct marketing purposes. That notice will identify the categories of personal information shared with third parties and used for direct marketing purposes and the name and address of the third parties that received such personal information. Children and Users Under Age 18.
The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we request that individuals under the age of 18 not use the Site or provide information about themselves through the Site. If you believe your child has provided information about themselves through the site, please contact us using the methods provided in Section 14. If we discover that someone who is under the age of 18 has submitted information through the Site, we will use reasonable efforts to delete it from our records.
If you live outside of the United States, by using this Site your information will transferred to, and stored in, the United States. By accessing the Site, users who reside in the European Union or other regions outside of the United States, agree and consent to the transfer and processing of personal information on servers located outside of the country where they reside, and acknowledge that the protection of such information may be different than required under the laws of their residence or location.
